Aria felt her thoughts race, feeling the odd, clutched space of where her heart once had pumped powerfully pulse within her chest. Her teeth gleamed slightly out from the shield of her upper lip as she whinnied into the crisp night air, her breathing rapid, although she kept herself almost completely silent. Aria's hoofs struck the solid ground as she paraded off into a gallop. She has claimed this land and nothing felt better than running free through it. Aria darted this way and that, letting her mane take wind behind her. and then....coming to a hault. She flinched, suddenly seeming like a lost child, terrified eyes pure, innocent, the way she had been before her family died... She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. Those times were no more. No point in reminiscing the past. This land seemed far too familiar even though she knew she had never been here before.

Aria sighed defeatedly, her eyes glassy with tears. Her hunger was slowly becoming unbearable. She couldn't, wouldn't let these haunting thoughts encase her in darkness. Or so she hoped. Her body slid naturally into a gentle trot, her eyes wide, concentrated. They were fixated on the pond in front of her. Slipping forward like waves of water, she fell deeper into the shadows, a few scraggly strands of her mane slipping off of her face. A moan caressed her lips. She wasn't far from exhaustion now, almost about to pass out. and she could see every detail of the lively world around her. She wanted to remain awake, but the lack of water and hunger alone was enough to do her in. Even so, her body slunk forward, slithering along the small shore of the pond. Pupils dialated. And then, she collapsed, her mind and thoughts coming in at a rush. and then darkness...
